MEDEA is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project funded by the European
Commission and organized by a Partnership of some the most prestigious universities in Europe
and the targeted Third Countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
MEDEA provides scholarships to nationals of the targeted Eastern neighbouring regions to spend a
mobility period in Europe and vice versa in a wide variety of medical disciplines at different
levels of study (Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate and Staff).
MEDEA is a partnership of 20 universities from European Union (France, Germany, UK, Greece, Italy Portugal, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania) and Third Countries (Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia).

Students and staff members of all partner universities, both from the Third countries and the EU, can apply for scholarships. The scholarships cover subsistence allowances, travel costs, tuition/registration fees and insurance costs.
